In grades 9-10 I worked as a captain of a 7 person team of "Bread runners" who collected bread over the western region of Hong Kong island. In this time, we cumulatively collected over 200+ pounds worth of perishable goods and delivered them to warehouses which would then distribute these foods to those in need.
After being elected to progam handler in the start of grade 11, I oversaw the entire operations of Feeding Hong Kong's bread run program. Where I successfully expanded Bread Run's partnerships from 7 fast food chains to 22 local diners, chain restaurants and international fast food spots. I also managed the operations 19 teams totalling 96 volunteers.
Key Accomplishments:
Expanded partnerships with restaurants from 7-22
Managed operation with 96 members
Increased food variety and healthiness from bread only to also incorporate leftover pasta, vegetables and Japanese Bentos.
